St. Joseph Health Looking for Retired Nurses to Help Administer COVID-19 Vaccine

Bryan, TX, January 5, 2021— St. Joseph Health is preparing for phase 1b of the COVID-19
vaccine distribution. This phase provides the COVID-19 vaccine to higher-risk individuals,
regardless of their work sector or status, and will provide protection for a number of critical
populations at an increased risk of getting COVID-19.

In order to effectively administer the vaccine to this sector of the community, we are requesting
assistance from retired and not currently practicing nurses, medical assistants and EMTs. These
volunteers would administer vaccines at our vaccine clinics. We are hoping to secure a number
of volunteers within the next weeks.

If you are interested in volunteering, and would like more information or to schedule an
interview, please reach out to William Shaw, Volunteer Services Manager at St. Joseph Health,
at 979-776-5956 or [email protected].
