CHI St. Joseph Health Ranks 4 of 5 Stars on Hospital Compare

Bryan, TX, September 9, 2019 - CHI St. Joseph Health received a rating of 4.5 stars by Hospital Compare, a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services program that offers patients information about quality of care at over 4,000 Medicare-certified hospitals. This rating is the highest of all hospitals in the Brazos Valley. Hospital Compare gives all hospitals a star rating, based on areas of safety, readmissions, patient experience, effectiveness of care, timeliness of care, mortality and medical imaging, comparing each facility to peers in-state and nation-wide. Among the highest ratings our system received were for quietness of the hospital environment, with 91% of patients describing the hospital environment as “always” or “usually” quiet.
